Reason, not interested at all in long term, stable tenants for his property investors.
Its all very well to increase rentals but equally as important to look after the long term people that are helping to pay to off the morgage of the investors. Stable tenancy is depended on those that are not only able to pay their rents but also the type of persons that decide to live in these properties. I am certain that the majority of property owners would prefer stability of income over greed of their agents. This agent is not at all interested in the welfare of property investors, why, no inspections during tennancy, not interested in the condition of rental properties oreven if tennants are taking care of the property. This is especially the case of properties that are owned by overseas investors/owners. The turn over rate of people leaving properties on their rental roll has dramaticaly increased. In other words short tennancy has increased as well as the quality of tennants has gone down. Conditions of properties have deteriated because this agent is not interested if their tennants are happy with the conditions they live in. Strange attitude but not suprising as their are a number of agents that really are not interested other than collecting their fees. But let them earn their fees and be aware, its a two way street, its also about giving, not just taking. Property investors be aware of such agents !! After all its your money not theirs.
