I have just found this great site. It's in competition to Google Maps however the images are so much clearer. More recent too. http://www.nearmap.com/

It struggles to find the street sometimes however it's certainly worth persevering with especially if you are looking for property that is out of your area.

Good luck in your investments

It is an excellent site wobbie. Met 1 of the directors a couple of years ago (ex ERMapper) the technique for capture is innovative as is the high resolution refresh. Anyway the photos are excellent and the repetition very good for the major cities, it is great for viewing the same property historically. It also optimises to the best recent photo when you zoom in.
Best to keep an eye out for planes if you enjoy skinny dipping in the pool!!

Must admit have checked up onthe general condition of interstate rental properties using the site. Big Brother Landlord:shake:
