Hi
A few people have stated that some of the stats I have been referring to are measuring past growth and past performance. Maybe useful but the horse has bolted and opportunity gone
Some readers have asked for info on Drivers of Growth?
Well here is some research info below and links to detailed information. I hope these links are acceptable as it is the only way to effectively display the info.
If anyone objects let me know and I will delete the information.
Oh I thought of an idea to have some fun for the forum readers.
Pick a single suburb or LGA in Australia and conduct research and analysis on it and discuss this in the forum?
Decide what are the drivers of growth, what's happening eg new roads, rail, new hospitals, is it a redevelopment area,
Anyone interested let me know and we can publish this on the forum and get everyone to contribute.
Anyway see some research info below
Looking at the big picture readers may want to ask the question?
where does Australia rank in the global economy (http://www.australian-real-estate.net.au/investing/national/where-does-australia-rank-in-the-global-economy/)? or check out global economic factors (http://www.australian-real-estate.net.au/investing/national/global-economy/global-economic-factors/)
Any major or minor infrastructure projects are approved by State Gov and Local Gov Area (LGA) authorities years in advance.
If an investor wants to keep their finger on the pulse monitor State Gov and LGA development plans. An investor could be way ahead of the pack just by knowing where to find information and keeping well informed. Power to the researcher! see

What do you think is important?
Also check out the listing information and photos online. Check out the property information online using a state gov supplier or reseller.
Do some sales data analysis before you inspect. If the property is overpriced and the vendor is not willing to negotiate on price there is no point in inspecting the property See
