World financial crisis and you

Do you suffered from financial crisis and how it reflected on you?

I've both benefitted and suffered.

Share portfolio down ...... but only lose if you sell.
Property prices down ...... but only lose if you sell.

So my suffering is not material, they are only paper losses.

Rents up on my properties ...... real money.
Interest rates down on my loans ...... real money.

My benefits are REAL.

I am very much the optimist and I am not all that worried in the current financial times. My only concern is job security, but even then that concern is only elevated slightly from normal levels (pre financial crisis).

I too have been hit good and bad.

as said above rents ups, loan interest down

but my business interests in the US have been effected badly.
but we see this as a time to restructure and get the right model in place to take us forward.

business in australia and asia for me is down but not that much to be a real worry, once again a good time to clean hose and get ready for the next move up.
