for the average person, most houses sit on one title....thats the norm...however there can be cases where there are two titles to the property...I am just a layman here...so this is the example that I know of...say Joe Blow wanted to build a house twice the size of a normal house, on twice the size of land....then he would buy two adjoining blocks of land, and build his house spanning both...hence the house has two titles...
or he might have built a house on one block and a swimming pool and tennis court on the other block...
........................
advantage or disadvantage....??? you need to provide details of the exact situation....
in my example above...I may not want the swimming and tennis block....so I may decide to sell that separately...and keep the house block...
but if the house is sitting in the middle of both blocks...its an advantage, land is valuable and it has more land than usual....
suggest you google the subject for more information

Its an advantage unless of course you want to subdivide it and sell the half that house is plumb over the block dividing line no? :)
